Kirsty first came to Grandview when she was only five-years-old. She received occupational and speech therapy because of her diagnosis of Down syndrome. Today, as an adult, she can still be found in the Grandview waiting room where she volunteers every week. Kirsty is in charge of organizing the Free to Read program where she arranges donated books so that children can have the chance to read them and take them home. She has made a lot of great friends throughout her years, and loves seeing the happy faces of the kids who visit. "At Grandview, I feel like I am part of a family," says Kirsty.
