Aslam is a very busy young man who is rarely sitting still. He loves listening to music, going for walks, and spending time outdoors. He is also always up for playing with a sports ball of any kind. Along with his twin sister, Fareen, Aslam has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo syndrome, a rare disorder that affects the brain and spinal column. His family came to Grandview to receive the on-going support needed to cope with this diagnosis. Fareen received speech, occupational, and physical therapy at Grandview until the age of 7. He also attended Grandview summer camp, where he had great fun playing outside with the other kids.
