Grandview’s story began in 1953 when a group of parents in Durham came together to create more support and services for their children. Grandview’s Oshawa building was constructed in 1983 to support 400 children with physical, communication and developmental needs. Today, there are 19,000 kids who receive help at seven different locations, with 11,000 on a waiting list.

Established in 1995, Grandview Children’s Foundation is dedicated raising the funds needed to support programs and services that help kids in Durham Region to live life to their best life.

Through the generosity of our donors, Grandview Children’s Foundation helps kids live life to their full potential. Because of the support of our caring community, Grandview kids have the support they need to move, engage and communicate to their full potential.

In addition to working to support Grandview kids through our annual giving program, Grandview Children’s Foundation has launched the Believe Campaign to help build and support a new Grandview.

Provide the resources to empower all children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs.
